New Accoya timber windows (which we work with) have a life expectancy of 60 years. Some windows have lasted up to ten years on top of that figure. The sentiment that timber will be the least weather-resistant and fastest to be replaced is simply a myth.
Timber windows and doors that are not properly sealed can shrink in excessively cold temperatures, and if exposed to long periods of high humidity, a lack of seal may cause the timber to warp. However, with quality Accoya wood and proper sealing, this is extremely rare.
The price of your window will vary depending on size, finish and any extras. Because of the variance in projects, we don’t share pricing without first knowing the project and window styles you’re looking for. For more information on prices, please contact us via phone or email.
