Handcrafted box sash or sliding windows
Our bespoke timber box sash/sliding sash windows are handcrafted and designed to take double glazed sealed units. We offer these in various depths and specification to ensure your thermal and acoustic requirements are met.
Sollex’s windows use weights and pulleys to replicate traditional vertical sliding sash windows with the benefits of a modern, long-lasting window. These also come with slimline sashes for maximum glass exposure.
Timber frame options
Choose from a wide range of styles, colours and opening options. Frames can be manufactured using different grades of timber, including Accoya, Sapele, European Redwood. Nordic Pine, Siberian Larch and our Oak range are engineered wood to offer extra strength and reduce expansion and contraction.
Solid brass, chrome and stainless steel accessories
You have a choice from a range of furniture options and working mechanisms, giving the windows an authentic look and feel. Complete with sash lift handles and central sash ring with locking fitch fasteners.
Choose from solid brass, chrome and stainless steel. It operates on sash cords, ball race pulleys and sash weights; our sash slider also has the facility to restrict the opening to 100mm, which is provided using a twist lock. Additional security can be provided using a second twist lock, but this option is not available with internal horns.

Bereco timber windows & doors
Bereco’s timber windows and doors are designed with performance in mind. Bereco were one of the first companies to use soft coat low ‘e’ argon filled double glazing and Secured by Design approved locking systems all incorporated into laminated defect-free engineered wooden windows and door frames. This not only improves the products appearance but its longevity and overall structural strength.
Today their standard product’s thermal rating is 40% better than the building regulations require.
Osborn fitted some new bifold doors and a window for us. Very happy with the service received throughout the ordering process as well as the finished result. Special mention to the fitter who was very polite and helpful.
I am delighted with the UPVC windows that have replaced three 80-year-old wooden windows that were rotting. Osborn’s staff were particularly patient when I had to delay the installation and then made a minor change to the glazing. The installers were fast and efficient.
